**BACK ONLINE** We experienced problems with our server earlier this week which caused my site to go down for a day. Thanks for checking back!I just returned from sweet Colorado this week and after the wedding of longtime friends and climbers Stephen Becker and Kim Christensen. Their day could not have been better, and held a special place in my heart as I got to revisit all the favorite mountain scenes of my childhood. Hi all. How time flies. I'm proud to announce that I am now working for photojournalist Dave Honl, who has taken me on to assist with some exciting upcoming endeavors this summer. I really love being involved in the synergy of new projects and as a bonus, in the company of people I respect. Speaking of, last week I assisted on a four-day shoot with Donald Miralle that was also completely thrilling and grueling.

Looks like summer has kicked off with a bang!

Hi all, I've been out of town 23 out of the last 28 days so it's been a bit of an on-the-road month. I'm catching up on submissions and edits now and will have that up in a few days. This photo is from the Coachella music festival from a sculpture made by Bamboo DNA. I also recently returned from a week on the staff at Sportsshooter Academy VI in Irvine, Calif., which is always an extremely rewarding, albeit exhausting experience. During the only time I had at home, I served on a jury panel and tried out and made the Los Angeles Derby Dolls Roller Derby league! Date: April 22, 2009

I went to Char Shanbe Suri (Persian fire-jumping party) last night, and pretty much don't feel the need to get up now. The food was the best food I've ever had. And now with the coming of spring is a new year! Last week was the killer engagement shoot for the sweet Yaniv + Jasmin. Coming up, the Red Rocks Rendezvous, like last year. Recently I've been busy assisting for shoots at the SAG awards, Jonas Brothers, and CSI Miami sets. I am also working on the rigging team for an art installation at Coachella, with BambooDNA.
